Colleagues, I have spoken to YPLA regarding the following reductions in SLN glh for 2011-12;

Dip in P&D level 3 (50040546)                         10/11 glh 1420 11/12 glh 1065

Dip in Bench Joinery level 3 (50040534)          10/11 glh 1430 11/12 glh 960

Dip in Site Carpentry level 3 (50040583)         10/11 glh 1460 11/12 glh 995

Dip in Plastering level 3 (50041010)                10/11 glh 1560 11/12 glh 1170

YPLA are aware that some 60 hrs or so to deliver level 3 (after completing level 2 this yr) is not reasonable and are looking to address this so existing level 2 learners are not disadvantaged.

YPLA will be communicating these changes, by mid July, to providers.
