CITB Construction Traning Numbers Survey 2013/14

Posted on 20th March 2014.

BACH Members are asked to take part in this important survey.

As part of the Sector Skills Council for Construction, CITB has the task of producing a forecast of skills demand in the industry, and estimating the likely future supply of trained workers.  The starting point for these is an assessment of the levels of training within the industry, and I am writing to ask if you can help us collect this information.

You will find  a copy of the 2013/2014 Trainee Numbers Survey Form below, which aims to measure the number of people starting training in construction, as well as gaining some idea of the total capacity for training that is available.  Up-to-date information of this kind is not available from any other source.

The survey results are then combined with data from the Higher Education Statistics Authority to produce the Training and the Built Environment report, presenting a picture of UK construction training in advance of the publication of official figures.  The completed reports are publicly available and are published on our website every year.

In order for us to provide as full a picture as possible we would be very grateful if you could encourage your members to participate in the survey.

Electronic replies and queries can be sent directly to [email protected] , the closing date for the survey is the 31st March.
