Autumn CPD – ‘Keeping Pace With Change’ 18th November 2015

BACH is currently taking bookings for the annual one-day Autumn CPD Event at JURYS INN Birmingham, 245 Broad Street Birmingham on 18 November 2015 from 10:00 to 16:00. Registration will open from 09.00 prior to the AGM Meeting.

The theme of the conference has been chosen to address identified current needs in Construction Departments and the Programme will focus on key topical issues. Members will receive an update on the NEW Common Inspection Framework and find out how they can be involved in the Provider Strategy and the Careers Brokerage projects. Members will also have the opportunity through workshops to further develop the BACH Good Practice Guide and to discover creative solutions and to the challenges facing Heads of Departments.

1330 – 1430    Go Construct update with Nathaniel Cook – An introduction to the Careers Brokerage project and resource update

1430 – 1500 The New Common Inspection Framework in Practice –  Paul Joyce, Ofsted

1500 – 1545 Workshop 3 – Focus on CIF in practice Workshop managed by Graham McPhail (BACH National Chair) and Paul Joyce

1545 – 1600 Coffee and Networking

The cost of the Autumn CPD Event is £100 per member delegate and £150 per non-member delegate. Lunch will be provided and refreshments will be available on arrival and in the afternoon.
